Our 43 apartments are spacious, furnished, and well-equipped while featuring unrivaled security systems, laundry facilities, and off-street parking, as well as a full-time property manager and maintenance staff. Lenny Vairo.
Owner
Lenny founded V.F. Properties with his wife, Patty, in 2008 and actively leads the ongoing strategy development and operation of the Company. Quality, safety, continuous improvement, integrity, and a superior tenant experience are foundations of the company that Lenny strives to uphold at all times. Lenny is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and is a Trustee of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he served as Chairman of the Patient Care and Quality Committee.
Patty Vairo.
Owner
Patty is co-owner of V.F. Properties with her husband, Lenny. As a member of the Worcester Property Owners Association, Patty is well connected and informed on how to best serve V.F. tenants. Patty has called the Worcester area home for the past 33 years and feels a sense of pride in beautifying a small piece of the city with 15 V.F. Properties. In addition to her responsibilities at V.F., Patty has been an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels, the Holden Library Outreach Program, the Veterans Shelter, and the American Red Cross.
Katie Kelly.
Leasing Coordinator
Katie is a licensed real estate agent who primarily works in the Worcester area. She joined V.F. Properties in 2019 as their leasing coordinator. Katie graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University and headed the research department for Richards, Barry, Joyce and Partners, a major commercial brokerage in Boston. Being a master multi-tasker, she also currently works full time at Staples headquarters. As a mother of four, including a son at the Naval Academy, Katie knows how important communication to both the student and parents can be and strives to make the leasing process as easy as possible.
Nick Tessier.
Property Manager
Nick is a licensed General Contractor and brings over 20 years of construction experience. Working with V.F Properties since 2016, Nick leads all maintenance and property management responsibilities. Prior to his current position, Nick worked in commercial and residential construction throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He is well-versed in all areas of security, renovation, and home repair, bringing a wealth of experience to his role. Nick was born and raised in Worcester.
Ray Barbara.
Leasing Agent
Ray has been selling, renovating and managing residential properties in Worcester since 1970. He is the leasing agent for V.F. Properties, ensuring all residents have a better off-campus living experience by finding the right apartment for each group. Ray is a lifelong Worcester resident and a 1976 graduate of Clark University. He holds a Master's degree in special education from Fitchburg State University. Ray taught, coached, and advised high school students for almost two decades, preparing him well in working with college students and their housing needs for student apartments.
